With a mission to provide love, care, and attention to dogs waiting for their forever homes, the shelter is looking for dedicated volunteers to assist with daily operations and enrich the lives of their canine companions.
Ways to Make a Difference
Volunteering at the Cameron Shelter isn't just about work; it’s about building connections. The shelter is currently looking for help with several essential tasks:
- Active Engagement: Walking dogs and playing in the dog run (which features a pool, frisbees, and plenty of squeaky toys).
- Essential Support: Cleaning kennels and keeping up with the never-ending mountain of laundry.

Flexible Volunteer Hours
To accommodate busy schedules, the shelter offers various time slots throughout the week:
- Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM or 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
