Hormuth, Barbara Ann Beshears, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, in Round Rock. A rosary and visitation will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale. Her funeral mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Yount, Frances P. of Cameron passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at a hospital in Temple. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Minerva Cemetery in Minerva.

Aguillon, Nancy Ann - Ms. Aguillon passed away on June 15, 2026, in a Madisonville care center at the age of 83. Her funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron, Texas, with burial following in the Hernandez Cemetery.

Davis, David Michael: Mr. Davis passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. He maintained close regional area connections, and his family is currently being cared for by Sunset Memorial Park, Funeral Home, and Crematory in Dothan.

Gammon, Geneva Maxin - Ms. Gammon passed away on May 19, 2026, having been born on January 29, 1934. She was a cherished local resident, and her final arrangements and services are under the care of Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron, Texas.

Guzman, Manuela “Mamie" - Ms. Guzman, a resident of Rockdale, passed away on June 12, 2026, at the age of 84. Her visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2026, followed by a Rosary from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale, Texas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, with burial following at Oak Lawn Cemetery. She was born on February 17, 1942, in Holland, Texas, to Celestino and Minia Medina.

Henry, Jim L. - Mr. Henry passed away on June 7, 2026, at the age of 60, surrounded by the memories of a life well lived. Born on November 13, 1965, in Andrews, Texas, to Harvey and Haroletta Henry, he was a 1984 graduate of Rockdale High School, attended Blinn College, and had his final services handled by Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale, Texas.

Hernandez, Gerardo Nuñez - Mr. Hernandez passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026, at the age of 54, surrounded by his loved ones after a long battle with lymphoma. He was born on August 23, 1971, in San Pablo, Mexico, to the late Faustino Nunez and Marciana Hernandez. His services and family care are being provided by Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale, Texas.

Hernandez, Juanita C. - Mrs. Hernandez entered into the presence of the Lord on May 26, 2026, at the age of 86. Born in Burlington, Texas, in 1939, she lived a life filled with faith, strength, and compassion. Due to regional family connections, her final arrangements are being managed by Carrillo Funeral Homes in Dallas, Texas.

Heugatter, Frank Donald - Mr. Heugatter passed away on May 11, 2026, in Montgomery, Texas, just one day after celebrating his 86th birthday. Born on May 10, 1940, in Cameron, Texas, he lived a life grounded in hard work and community spirit. He is survived by his beloved sons, David, Stephen, and Gerald Heugatter, with his memorial arrangements coordinated via Green-Patterson Funeral Home.

Hoelscher, Larry James - Mr. Hoelscher passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on April 26, 1948, to Herbert F. and Helen W. Hoelscher, he was blessed with a son, Larry James Hoelscher, Jr., in 1970, and married his wife on October 6, 1984. His local services are being handled by Green-Patterson Funeral Home in the Westphalia area.

Keith, Gladys Kornegay - Mrs. Keith passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, in Macon, Georgia, at the age of 81. A graveside memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Gause Cemetery in Gause, Texas. She was born on January 15, 1945, in Gause to the late Robert Arnold Kornegay and Bessie Myrtle Green Kornegay, and she will be remembered as an avid, passionate quilter. Her arrangements are managed by Green-Patterson Funeral Home.

Little, Barbara - Mrs. Little passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at her residence in Rosebud, Texas, at the age of 94. Services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud with Reverend Duane Brooks officiating, followed by burial in Powers Chapel Cemetery near Rosebud. She was born on July 4, 1931, in Houston to Henry and Edna Meyer Osminer, and she was married to Joseph Everitt.

Livingston, Wanda Jane - Mrs. Livingston passed away peacefully from this earth into eternity on May 13, 2026. Born on November 2, 1933, as Wanda Jane Dickey, her arrangements and final services are handled by Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron, Texas.

Massengale, Diana Brewer - Mrs. Massengale passed away on June 4, 2026. She was born in Cameron and later resided in Lexington, with her service details and arrangements handled through Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale, Texas.

Mendoza, Amelia “Millie" - Ms. Mendoza passed away on May 11, 2026. She was a valued local area resident, and her final services are being handled by Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron, Texas.

Nevill, Tracy Lea - Mrs. Nevill passed away on May 14, 2026, at Memorial Hermann Hospital. Born on April 21, 1960, she was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and a proud Houstonian with deep family roots in Cameron. Olivarri, Lorraine A. - Ms. Olivarri passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026, in a Cameron nursing and rehabilitation facility at the age of 95. Born on June 21, 1930, her funeral services are being handled by Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron, Texas.

Owens, Alfred Earl - Mr. Owens passed away Sunday evening, June 14, 2026, at his home in Weir, Texas, at the age of 93. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at Milano Cemetery in Milam County, with Reverend Alex Berrios officiating. The family will receive visitors beginning at 10:00 a.m. directly at the cemetery, with Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home of Rockdale managing the arrangements.

Robbins, Dannie W. Jr. “Butch” - Mr. Robbins passed away on June 1, 2026. He was a lifelong Rockdale resident and a well-respected local heavy equipment operator. His service notices and arrangements were coordinated through Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale, Texas.

Stephenson, Phillip Wayne - Mr. Stephenson passed away on June 13, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on October 24, 1956, in La Marque, Texas, to William and Eula Stephenson, he moved to Rockdale in 1992 where he founded Southern Lawn Care, living a life defined by hard work, kindness, and a genuine love for his community. His final arrangements are being handled by Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale, Texas.

WITHROW, Melquaides "Mickey" Vargas, 85, of Round Rock, TX passed away on March 15th. Celebration of life ceremony will be held Sunday, May 17th from 12-3pm at Rabb House in Round Rock.

FLORES, Jr., Alfred Olguin, 48, of Taylor, TX passed away May 3rd. Funeral service will be Monday, May 11th at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor.

HEHMANN, Cynthia Rene, 68, of Taylor, TX passed away May 4th. Funeral service will be Saturday, May 9th at 10am at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Taylor.

PAYNE, Odessa passed away on May 2nd. Funeral Service being held Friday May 8th at 10am at Milam County Cowboy Church.

ELLIOTT, Kristina Marie, 41, of Gause, passed away on April 26th. A Memorial Service will be held, 11 am, Monday, May 4th, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home, Rockdale, with Pastor Daniel Garrison officiating. The family will receive visitors an hour prior to services at the funeral home.

WILLIAMS, C.W., 81, of Rockdale, passed away on April 19th. at a hospital in Bell County. No services are scheduled at this time. Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale in charge of arrangements.

 HINOSTROZA, Diana Gomez, passed away on April 25th. Providence Funeral Home in Taylor in charge of arrangements.

GING, Tracie Marie, passed away on April 25th. A visitation will be held at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor on Sunday, May 3rd from 5-7 pm with a rosary at 7 pm. A funeral service will convene on Monday, May 4th at 10 am at St. Mary of Assumption Catholic Church in Taylor. Burial to follow at Taylor City Cemetery.

MARTINEZ, Jane, 75, of Taylor, passed away on April 22nd. A graveside service will be held at 11 am Tuesday, April 28th, at Thorndale City Cemetery with Pastor Sammy Munoz (Ark of Grace) officiating. The family will receive visitors today, April 27th, from 6–7 pm at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home, Rockdale, with an evening service from 7–8 pm.

MIKESKA, Dorothy, 83, of Hutto, passed away on April 23rd. A visitation will be held at Condra Funeral Home in Taylor on Wednesday, April 29th from 9-10 am, followed by the funeral service at the funeral home at 10 am. Dorothy will be laid to rest at Palm Valley Cemetery in Round Rock.

STIGALL, Billy Hiatt, 89, of San Gabriel, passed away peacefully on April 21th at Scott & White Hospital in Temple. Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Thursday, April 30th, at San Gabriel Christian Church in San Gabriel, with Pastor Billy Bob Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Locklin Cemetery in San Gabriel.

MOLINA, Julia Rubio, 81, of Rockdale, passed away peacefully on April 20th. A visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Thursday, April 30th, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale. A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Friday, May 1st, at St. Joseph Cemetery in Rockdale, with Father John officiating

SWENSON, Donald Leroy, of Thorndale, passed away on April 17th. A visitation will be held from 5-8 pm today, April 22nd at the Providence Funeral Home in Taylor. A funeral service will convene tomorrow, April 23rd at 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Taylor City Cemetery. 

MORAIDA, Eslinda “Linda” Rodriguez, peacefully passed away on April 18th in Austin surrounded by the love of her family. A visitation will be held from 5-7 pm with a prayer service at 7 pm tomorrow, April 23rd at the Providence Funeral Home in Taylor. A funeral service will convene on Friday, April 24th at 11 am at Jerusalem Pentecostal Church. Burial will follow at the Taylor City Cemetery. 

SOSSAMON, Bobby Dean, 82, of Georgetown, passed on April 19th. A visitation will be held at Condra Funeral Home tomorrow, April 23rd from 5-7 pm, and a Funeral Service will be held at Taylor City Cemetery on Friday, April 24th at 2 pm. Bobby will be laid to rest at Taylor City Cemetery.

ANDERSON, Juanita “Alba”, 95, of Cameron and formerly of Lexington, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 20th. Visitation will be held Friday, April 24th, from 6-8 pm at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, April 25th at First Baptist Church in Cameron.

GUTHRIE, Sarah Marie, 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family April 8th. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 25th, at 10 a.m. at Locklin Cemetery in San Gabriel with her son-in- law, Shey Lovelace, officiating.

TUMLINSON, Jean Head, 95, of Cameron, passed away peacefully on April 12th. Services will be held at the Cameron Church of Christ on Saturday, April 25th, beginning with visitation one hour prior to the service at 10:30 am.

MERRITT, Wanda Elaine “Sookie” Love, 77, of Sharp, passed away peacefully on April 17th. Visitation will be held Friday, May 1st from 5-7 pm at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 2nd at 1 pm at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home, with Pastor John D. Stanislaw officiating. Internment will follow at Lilac Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made, in lieu of flowers, to the Lilac Cemetery Association, c/o Penny Redington, 153 Magnolia Ln., Westworth Village, TX 76114.

HALL, Marilyn Rañola Jaucian, 71, of Normangee, passed away on April 12th after a courageous battle against cancer. A memorial service will be held at Lilac Cemetery on Saturday, May 2nd at 10 am.
