Cameron Chamber Chat Highlights: August 2026 Community Updates

Cameron, TX - The Cameron Chamber of Commerce has officially released its August 2026 Cameron Chamber Chat E-Newsletter, packed with exciting community updates, upcoming events, and well-deserved recognition for local leaders.

Whether you are looking to network, support local businesses, or dive into Cameron’s rich history, here is a roundup of the top headlines from this month's newsletter:

Business of the Month: Edward Jones

The Chamber is proud to recognize Edward Jones as the August 2026 Business of the Month. Led by Melanie Romine and Carley Shuffield—alongside team members Makennah Shuffield, Crystal Cardona, and Flake Charanza—the local branch goes far beyond financial planning.

This summer, Edward Jones stepped up as the presenting sponsor for Cameron's America 250 Fourth of July Celebration and generously supported the Chamber’s Teacher Appreciation Initiative. Their continuous investment in local schools, nonprofits, and community traditions exemplifies true community leadership. Congratulations to the entire Edward Jones team!
