To help meet these ongoing needs, Milam Touch of Love (MTOL) is launching an exciting summer fundraising event featuring themed prize bundles, gift baskets, and community favorites.
Starting Friday, July 17th, the official fundraising link will go live, giving community members a chance to win incredible prizes while directly funding vital services for local pets. Highlighted raffle and auction items include:

Every dollar raised during this event stays right here in the community, directly supporting Milam Touch of Love’s core mission: providing low-cost spay and neuter services, Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance, and monthly wellness clinics across Milam County.
Operating out of its hub at 502 N. Crockett Ave in Cameron, MTOL has become a lifeline for local pet owners, barn and porch cat caretakers, and local shelters. The organization hosts regular targeted events, including the tier-two "Snip and Chip" surgery days for indoor pets, monthly "Wellness Days" for low-cost vaccinations and basic veterinary exams, and community "Barn Cat Days" aimed at managing the outdoor cat population.
With local rescues and shelters frequently operating at maximum capacity, MTOL emphasizes that proactive spaying and neutering is the single most effective way to reduce the number of homeless, neglected, or unwanted litters in the county. Programs like the Milam County Grant help lower these costs further for residents, but community donations and fundraisers are what truly keep the operations sustainable.
