CAMERON, TX — Cameron Junior High is home to a powerhouse athlete. Thriving on the national stage, incoming eighth-grader Kyrie Foster has firmly cemented her status as one of the country's elite young track and field throwers, bringing home prestigious titles and shattering personal milestones.

Foster recently delivered a stellar performance at the AAU National Championships, adding multiple national titles to her growing legacy. Demonstrating unmatched consistency and power, she captured the 13-year-old AAU National Championship in the discus with an impressive throw of 136 feet, 11 inches.

This latest victory marks her third consecutive national title in the event, showcasing a remarkable multi-year reign of dominance. Foster previously claimed the 12-year-old field championship in 2025 with a mark of 117-3, following her breakout 2024 national championship performance in the 11-year-old division, where she threw 100-2.

Her winning momentum didn't stop in the throwing ring. Foster also powered her way to the 13-year-old AAU National Championship in the shot put, launching an exceptional throw of 42 feet, 8 inches to secure the gold. Rounding out her busy and successful championship meet, she also placed fourth nationally in the javelin with a strong throw of 97-08.

As Foster prepares to step onto the campus at Cameron Junior High for her eighth-grade year, local sports fans will undoubtedly be watching this multi-event national champion as she continues to raise the bar in Texas youth athletics.
