Milam County Deputy Graduates from Advanced SBLE Master Training Program

CAMERON — The Milam County Sheriff’s Office is proud to recognize and congratulate Deputy Robert Wagnon, School Resource Deputy with Cameron ISD assigned to Yoe High School, on his graduation today from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) School Base Law Enforcement (SBLE) Master Training Class at the Texas School Safety Center in San Marcos.

The SBLE Master Training serves as the prestigious capstone of the TxSSC summer school-based law enforcement training series. The rigorous curriculum spans four intensive 32-hour courses, totaling 128 hours of TCOLE-accredited instruction. To reach this milestone, participants must successfully complete the Introductory, Intermediate, and Advanced courses prior to attending the Master Training.

Designed to prepare school-based law enforcement professionals for leadership roles in the field, the specialized program focuses on industry best practices and evidence-based policing models aimed at enhancing the safety and security of schools and surrounding communities.

Deputy Wagnon has proudly served the Cameron ISD school district for nearly eight years, spending the past five years stationed at Yoe High School. His unwavering commitment to the students, faculty, staff, and the Milam County Sheriff’s Office has made him an invaluable pillar of the community.

Family members, Milam County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy John Mendoza, and school district leadership—including Superintendent Dr. Mistie Dakroub and Principal Brian Stork—were in attendance to support Deputy Wagnon at his graduation ceremony.
