The Cameron and Temple communities are preparing to come together to honor the cherished lives of two beloved souls, Shane D. Taylor and Tavarshea “TD Teekie” Sims. Bound by shared love, brotherhood, and lasting memories, both men touched countless lives with their warmth, energy, and presence.

A Joint Wake will be held for both Shane and TD, offering an evening of comfort, prayer, and fellowship for all who wish to pay their respects:

Individual services celebrating each man's unique legacy will take place on Saturday, September 5, 2026, in Cameron:

Homegoing Service for Tavarshea “TD Teekie” Sims

Joint Resting Place & Memorial Colors
Following the afternoon service for TD, both gentlemen will be laid to rest side by side in a Joint Burial at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cameron, Texas.
Attendees are warmly encouraged to wear tribute colors in honor of each gentleman’s vibrant memory:
