Pet of the Week: Foxy Is a Little Spooky, but Mostly Sweet

Cameron, TX — This week's Cameron Community Voice Pet of the Week is Foxy, a sweet girl at the Cameron Shelter who is dressed up for Halloween and ready to trade shelter life for a forever family.
Foxy's story pulls at the heart. She was used for breeding and wasn't given the care she deserved. Her hair is growing back now, and with a safe home, she can heal, regain her strength, and finally just be loved.
What she needs is a patient person. Foxy is missing her front teeth, so she needs someone who understands how to feed her gently. What she gives back is plenty — she's very sweet, she loves to play with all kinds of toys, and she deserves, in the shelter's words, lots of cuddles and hugs.
She's also an easy housemate: Foxy is house-trained and leash-trained, and she doesn't mind cats at all. Health-wise, she's ready to go home — she's spayed, has had her 9-in-1 vaccine, has been dewormed, is on Simparica, and is heartworm-negative.
Still a little spooky, but mostly sweet — that's Foxy, and she's waiting to meet you.
