Yoemen Gearing Up for Thursday Night Clash in Waco: Schedule Changes, Game Day Protocols, and Community Spirit

The Cameron Yoemen will travel to Waco for a marquee Thursday night showdown.

Cameron, TX - Football fever is running high across Cameron this week as the Yoemen prepare to take the field under the lights. Fans, families, and students heading out to support the team will want to plan ahead for a major shift in the weekly routine, with kickoff arriving twenty-four hours earlier than usual.

The Cameron Yoemen will travel to Waco for a marquee Thursday night showdown. To accommodate travel and ensure the entire community can rally behind the team, campus schedules, pep rally plans, and stadium logistics have all been set for an action-packed week.

Cameron Yoe serves as the designated home team for the neutral-site battle in Waco. Fans making the drive should note key stadium guidelines, parking rules, and gate policies:

Parking: $5.00 cash only

Presale Adult Admission: $8.00 ($7 ticket + $1 platform fee; sales end 09/03 at 11:59 AM CDT)
Presale Student General Admission: $6.00 ($5 ticket + $1 platform fee; sales end 09/03 at 11:59 AM CDT)
Game Day Admission: $11.00 ($10 ticket + $1 platform fee; on sale 09/03 at 12:00 PM CDT)
Tickets can also be purchased at the gate with a credit card (subject to convenience fees). No cash sales will be accepted at the gate.
Children ages 5 and under are admitted free.
District 12-AAA Football Season Passes and District 12-AAA Senior Passes will be honored.
Stadium Policies: Metal detectors will be in use at the entrances, a strict clear-bag policy will be enforced, and Waco ISD maintains a strict no re-entry and no refund/exchange policy.

Campus Bell Schedule & Tie-Dye Pep Rally

To send the Yoemen off with maximum energy, Cameron High School has outlined adjustments to the bell schedule leading into the weekend.

Thursday (Game Day): The first morning bell sounds at 7:40 AM, with classes starting promptly at 7:45 AM.
"Unleash the Spirit" Pep Rally: Students and staff will show off their colors for the Tie-Dye Theme Pep Rally scheduled for 1:38 PM on Thursday before the team heads to Waco.
Friday: Campus will operate on a no-enrichment schedule.

Battle of the Bell Shirts On Sale

The excitement doesn’t stop on the gridiron this Thursday. School pride and class competition are already underway with official Battle of the Bell shirts now available.

Proceeds from shirt sales directly benefit the Junior Class Prom and the Senior Class Trip.
