A Golden Celebration: Senior Expo Returns to Cameron
Milam County TRIAD will once again host an event dedicated to supporting senior citizens and their families with valuable resources, services, and education.
Milam County, TX - Milam County TRIAD will once again host an event dedicated to supporting senior citizens and their families with valuable resources, services, and education. The Senior Expo is scheduled for Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Milam Community Theatre, located at 408 S. Columbus Avenue in Cameron.
This year’s Senior Expo will celebrate the Golden Age with a special pink and gold theme. The gold represents the wisdom and experiences that come with the golden years, while pink recognizes Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the importance of health and wellness.
The annual expo provides an opportunity for seniors, caregivers, and family members to connect with organizations and professionals offering services and information focused on senior health, safety, financial well-being, and quality of life.
Attendees will have access to a variety of resources and educational opportunities throughout the morning. Vendors will be on hand to share information about programs and services available to seniors and their families.
Educational sessions will provide practical information on topics that can help seniors and their loved ones make informed decisions and prepare for the future. The expo will also provide opportunities to ask questions, gather resources, and connect with local organizations.
Adding to the fun, door prizes will be awarded throughout the event, giving attendees another reason to visit the various booths and participate in the morning’s activities.
